Overview:

• An individual or party may only use 3 Tokenz despite the circumstances of pay & bill formation (ie; splitting the bill, cash, credit). Only one kind of Token may be used per visit. ‘Buy One Get One Free’ Tokenz cannot be used in conjunction with ‘Discount’ Tokenz.

• Tokenz are to be presented upon requesting the bill and/or before payment

• Tokenz are not to be used in conjunction with other discounts, offer, special items and/or promotions

In-Depth:

The use of Tokenz by Tokenz Premium Members (individuals subscribed to a valid membership purchased on the Tokenz App) are subject to these Rules of Use along any and all terms of use included on individual offers. Tokenz users are required to read these rules attentively before using Tokenz.

 

1. Membership Subscriptions

1.1 Regulations

• The use and access to the Tokenz available on the Tokenz app is limited to members who have purchased a subscription to either the ‘monthly’ or ‘yearly’ Tokenz membership via the App. Exceptions apply to using free Tokenz supplied by filling out the introductory survey, sharing the app to a friend, or being gifted one at random by us!

• Memberships are limited to the subscription time period selected upon initial purchase; ‘Tokenz Premium Monthly Membership’ or ‘Tokenz Premium Yearly Membership’. The membership subscription will automatically renew at the end of the monthly/yearly time period. The auto-renewal will be charged to the payment method made for the original purchase. Fees and taxes will be charged according to the prices on the date of renewal. Automatic Renewal can be switched off through the app settings at any point before the expiry of an ongoing membership.

• Post auto-renewal, a member is not able to cancel their subscription.

1.2 Monthly Membership

• ‘Tokenz Monthly Membership’ enables access to the Tokenz app and its amenities for the period of one (1) month only from the date of purchase. 

(Example: if a membership begins on January 15th, 2023, the time period ends February 15th, 2023)

1.3 Yearly Membership

• ‘Tokenz Yearly Membership’ enables access to the Tokenz app and its amenities for the period of 365 days (or 366 days on leap years) only from the date of purchase.

 

2. Claiming Offers

2.1 How to Redeem an Offer

• Two methods to redeem a Tokenz offer:

• Using the Tokenz App’s built-in QR scanner, scan the vendor’s specific Tokenz QR code present at the vendor’s location and select which offer on the Tokenz App you would like to redeem. 

• On any vendor’s Tokenz page, tap on the token you would like to use, then scan the QR code at the branch to confirm the token. 

• Upon selecting your chosen offer to redeem on the Tokenz app, inform an employee at the vendor that you have the App prior to asking for the bill. You will be required to show the unique verification page with a 12-digit verification code to the vendor to ensure the application of the offer on your bill.

• This process may be repeated up to three B1G1 deals 

 

3. Tokenz Regulations

4. Points

• Three Tokenz in total are available to use for each vendor across all locations.

• Points can be used to buy back Tokenz that have already been redeemed. Each Token costs 10,000 points.

• Points allow the user to regain used Tokenz and works as follows:

  • Every time the user uses a token, they gain 1000 points. 

  • If a user wants to regain a used token, it costs 10,000 points. 

  • The maximum amount of points a user can hold at a time is 30,000 points. 

• The circular meter on the Points tab of the Tokenz app displays the current number of points a user has. Checkpoints are reached at 10,000, 20,000, and 30,000 points.

• For users who have already bought a membership, they will gain 5,000 points every time a person uses their referral code to sign up. Refer to the initial pop-up when opening the app. Referral code may also be found on the app through any referral widget.

5. Tokenz Validity

• Tokenz are valid for as long as your account is valid, the token has not been used, the vendor is still partnered with Tokenz, and it is not a statutory holiday.

• Tokenz can only be used with the issuing vendor, at their applicable branch(es).

• Tokenz will only be applicable to products and services listed on each specific Tokenz with their respective terms & conditions.

• Tokenz are exclusive and can not be used in combination with other offers, discounts, promotions, deals or employee/reward programs.

• Tokenz offers are only applicable to the main food/drink/service and are not applicable on service charges.

• If a vendor refuses to accept or honor a Tokenz, do not hesitate to contact customer service.

• Across a membership (monthly and/or yearly) Tokenz validity periods may change. Tokenz App Inc. may amend or remove any Tokenz and is not held responsible for any such amendments and/or removals.

• Tokenz are not redeemable for cash and cannot be reproduced, resold or modified in any way. It is strictly prohibited and the Tokenz membership will be considered invalid.

• Three Tokenz are available per vendor and not per location. If one Tokenz is used at one location, it will be redeemed for all.  

 

6. Food & Drink Tokenz

• “Main Courses” are categorized as the primary component of one’s meal. Tokenz is not responsible for the vendor’s menu listings and what is applicable can be clarified and confirmed with the vendor.

• Reference ‘2.2 Tokenz Regulations’ to know how many Tokenz can be used per meal for a group of people. 

• Applicable for B1G1 Tokenz only → The least expensive item(s) (food and/or beverages) on the bill (part of the offer) will be deducted. The bill must only be presented as one and cannot be split.

• Offers are only applicable for dine-in only and are not valid on takeaway or delivery orders.

• No discounts are applicable to service charges and/or GST/HST.

• Food & Drink Tokenz are exclusive and can not be used in combination with other offers, discounts, promotions, deals, or employee/reward programs.

 

7. Leisure, Attractions & Entertainment Tokenz

• Both ‘Buy 1 Get 1’ and ‘Discount’ offers can be found in the Leisure, Attractions, and Entertainment section of Tokenz.

• Reference ‘2.2 Tokenz Regulations’ to know how many Tokenz can be used per service for a group of people. 

• Please note some attractions and entertainments require bookings ahead of time. It is recommended you notify the vendor upon booking that you intend to use a Tokenz.

• Attractions & Entertainment Tokenz are not redeemable on public holidays.

• Attractions & Entertainment Tokenz are exclusive and can not be used in combination with other offers, discounts, promotions, deals, or employee/reward programmes.

 

8. Exception Days

• Tokenz can be used 7 days a week, not including the days mentioned below and any other announced public holidays. (Some vendors may still allow Tokenz to be used, just ask!)

  • December 24th

  • December 25th

  • December 31st

  • January 1st

  • February 14th

  • Good Friday

  • Easter Sunday

  • Labor Day

  • National Day

  • Any and all other public holidays announced by the Government.

 

9. General

The selling, trading, duplication, and transfer of any Tokenz for cash or any form of reward. Tokenz are intended for use solely by App users who have subscribed to ‘Tokenz Monthly Membership’ or ‘Tokenz Yearly Membership’. Failure to comply is strictly prohibited and the Tokenz and Tokenz Premium membership will be considered invalid. Individuals will be prohibited from using Tokenz or signing up for alternate Memberships. Tokenz App Inc. is not held liable for the refusal of a Tokenz by any vendor or merchant; Tokenz App Inc. will however try and resolve such misunderstanding to ensure any listed vendors on the App are compliant with the use of Tokenz. Tokenz App Inc. is not responsible for any extenuating circumstances affecting the use of a Tokenz; including but not limited to, illness, injury, fire or any other conditions beyond the control of Tokenz App Inc.
